Not sure where to start?
A photo must fit both pixels and KB
Read the upload form's required dimensions, format and file-size limit first. Resize the image to the correct dimensions, then reduce its KB size if needed. Small size targets can reduce dimensions again, so check the downloaded result against both limits.
Several documents need to become one PDF
Use Merge PDF for existing PDFs. For photos or scans, use JPG to PDF instead. Add files in the required order and review every output page. Converting a photo into a PDF does not recognize its text.
A PDF exceeds a file-size limit
Start with Compress PDF and choose clean re-save if searchable text matters. Strong image compression can make scans smaller, but can remove selectable text and form fields. Keep the original and inspect small print, signatures and codes after downloading.
Check the result before submitting
FileHoney prepares files; it cannot guarantee that a receiving website will accept them. Confirm the actual file size, dimensions, page order and readability. For passport or application photos, follow the receiving authority's current instructions rather than relying on a preset.

About Passport Photo Maker Online
Prepare a portrait at a chosen pixel size and optional KB target. The starting preset is 413 by 531 pixels with a centered cover crop and JPG output. Treat that as a starting point: the correct size, head position and background depend on the application you are completing.
- Read the receiving application's current photo instructions, then choose a clear original portrait with enough space around the head and shoulders.
- Replace the default Width and Height with the required values and choose Unit. Review the Fit, Format and Target KB controls. Cover crop may cut the edges of the original.
- Select Passport Photo Maker and download the image. Check the face position, background, dimensions and file size against the receiving application's instructions.
Practical guide
What this tool does
The tool resizes and crops an existing portrait. It does not verify official photo compliance, automatically position your face, confirm identity or assess lighting, expression and background. Choose a suitable original and inspect the result yourself.
Keep the face in the frame
Cover crop is centered, so a face close to an edge can be cut off. If the crop removes hair or chin, prepare a better-framed source or try Contain, then verify whether added background space is allowed. Stretch can change facial proportions and is usually unsuitable for portraits.
Pixel size and print size
For a print workflow, 35 by 45 mm at 300 DPI corresponds to roughly 413 by 531 pixels. This is a unit-conversion example, not a statement of any authority's current requirements. Digital applications may instead specify a different pixel size and byte limit.

FAQ
Passport Photo Maker questions
Is the default size accepted everywhere?
No. Requirements vary by receiving application. Replace the preset with the dimensions and other requirements published for your particular submission.
Does this remove the background?
No. This resize preset is not an automatic background-removal tool. Start with a suitable background and check the downloaded image.
Does the KB target change the chosen dimensions?
The resize export preserves your requested pixel dimensions. Read the size report: a very small byte target may not be reached.
Are my files uploaded for processing?
